Fight to the Finish

The annual event includes a military-style obstacle course and aims to recruit local high schoolers to attend UCF and join its ROTC program.

Teams of four took on a military-style obstacle聽course for the 15th annual Iron Knight Challenge.聽In partnership with local and national government聽agencies, the event provides a pathway for high school聽students to attend UCF and join the university鈥檚 ROTC聽program or become a professional first responder.

JROTC youth and adult challengers from across聽Florida completed the 4-mile race as they made their聽way around UCF鈥檚 campus, leaving no comrade behind.聽In this test of physical and mental endurance, 41 teams聽emerged victorious this year and received a knight聽helmet as trophies.

鈥淚t was great to see UCF connect聽with its surrounding community聽and build relations with all the聽high schools and first responder聽groups in the area.鈥
