Drawing back to its roots in the School of Visual Arts聽and Design, Flying Horse Editions 鈥 a collaborative聽research studio for visual artists 鈥 held an exhibit聽in the UCF Art Gallery to honor its 30th anniversary.聽Now located at the UCF Downtown campus, the聽nonprofit publisher produces limited-edition prints,聽artist books and art objects by internationally聽renowned artists. The studio, which is supported聽through an exclusive subscription base and works with聽four to six artists each academic year, also provides聽students hands-on experiences that expand their view聽on art and opportunities to learn about the practices of聽established artists.
鈥淭his exhibition 鈥 and the diverse聽work Flying Horse Editions and its聽partnering artists have produced聽for 30 years 鈥 clearly illustrates聽the magic that can happen when聽a passionate team works together聽toward a common goal.鈥
